Facing Problems (Short story)

      Mary was a young girl. She used to get annoyed with everything. She had a negative attitude towards life. 

     Once, when she felt that life was unbearable, she asked her father what to do. She told him that if she was able to manage and solve one problem, another one followed quickly. Her father consoled her and took her to the kitchen. He asked Mary to take a potato, an egg and two spoons of tea leaves. Mary was surprised, and asked her father, "Do you want me to cook?" "No," her father said. He then took three vessels and poured one cup of water into each vessel. The vessels were placed on the stove. Once the water started to boil, he dropped the potato in a vessel, the egg in the second one and the tea leaves in the third one. "Why are you doing all these things?" Mary asked, really annoyed with her father. "Just wait fifteen minutes," said her father. The impatient daughter managed to wait for around 15 minutes. Father removed the potato from the pot and placed it on a plate. He did the same with the eggs. He filtered the tea decoction using a cup. Now, he placed the two plates, one with the potato and the other with the egg, and the cup of tea in front of Mary. He asked Mary, "What do you see? "Potato, egg and a cup of tea," said Mary. "No, you are wrong," said her father. "Look at it closely and answer me," Mary replied the same."Now touch it and answer me." The potato was cooked and soft, egg was boiled hard, and the tea carried a nice aroma. Mary couldn't find the correct answer. Her father said, "The potato was so hard and strong before it was boiled; now it has turned soft and smooth. Also, the egg was delicate but after boiling it became hard. Sip the tea. It is delicious!" Mary asked, "What does it mean father? I don't understand!"  

     Each object responded differently to water. Each object was put under the same kind of circumstances, faced similar adversities, but reacted differently. The potato, when put in boiling water, became very weak. The soft egg became very hard when we put it in boiling water. And the tea leaves are unique. It changed the water itself, giving it a unique flavour and aroma! It gave something new." Mary understood that we can create something new and unique even when we experience adversities.

    So, what are you? A potato, an egg, or a tea leaf?

The Barren Fig Tree

 

        The barren fig tree is a simple parable said by Jesus[luke13:6-9].

        

        In this parable, Jesus said about a man who had planted a fig tree in his garden. But even after three years, the tree bears no fruit.  The master got angry and told his vinedresser to cut down the tree instead of allowing it to use up the land. But the wine dresser pleaded with him to let the tree for one more year and told him that he could put some effort by digging around it and putting on some manure. If the tree bears no fruit even after that he can cut it down.

        The parable is simple. The fig tree resembles us, The Lord Almighty as the master and Jesus as the vinedresser. The purpose he has in us is that we have to live fruitful life. Just think about it "Are we fruitful to others?". Our Saviour is always trying to speak with us so that we can turn ourselves into a good one. "Are we listening to his words?".

        My dear friends, hear his words. Listen to him. Live as he taught us. Live a fruitful life and stay blessed.

Kaziranga National Park

• Kaziranga National park is located in Assam. 
• It is one of India's Oldest Reserve areas.
• It is located in Golaghat and Nagaon, in the Karbi Anglong district of  Assam in North-East India.
• The park is administrated by the Forest Department of Assam State Government.
• Kaziranga National park is famous for being the world's largest habitat for the great One-Horned Rhinos.
• It was declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1985.

Fieldwork

Introduction

    Fieldwork is defined as the process of observing and collecting data, about the appearance, features, working, etc. on a particular topic given to the scholar.

    Fieldwork is conducted in a real environment where the theories of science and technology are applied rather than fully-controlled environments like the classroom or semi-controlled environments like Laboratories.

Purpose of Fieldwork:

    💨The fieldwork aims to observe, interact and understand the given topic in its natural environment.

    💨 Unlike other methods of gathering knowledge, fieldwork helps the scholar to learn eminently.

    💨 Fieldwork allows students to gather their own (primary) data, and provide opportunities to extend classroom learning through direct observation and experience.

    💨 Fieldwork enables the students and researchers to examine how scientific theories interact with real life.

Advantages of Fieldwork:

     💥Fieldwork provides an opportunity to learn about the applications of science in its real environment.

     💥In books and classrooms, students learn things using written texts, diagrams, graphs, models, etc. But the real working environments will have many differences. Fieldwork helps the students to know about problems in the real working environment.

     💥Fieldwork provides the opportunity to reinforce classroom-based learning.                                                                                         

     💥It increases students' knowledge, skills and subject understanding.

Process of Fieldwork:

    In fieldwork, students learn under a Guide. The Guide may be a teacher or a professional in the field with whom students are motivated to interact. The Guide explains the working of machinery, application of science, etc. and the students can ask their doubts with the Guide.

    Guides must incorporate fieldwork to help students understand the theory, develop skills, integrate knowledge, build tacit knowledge, develop meaning in places, and work with peers and instructors in alternate settings.

    Students are instructed to note down the data they observe and to produce a report finally to their teacher.

At the completion of Fieldwork, students will have:

   Gained exposure to and responsibility for varied practical situations under qualified supervision.

   Gained knowledge and competence in working with individuals and groups in a structured program setting.

  Demonstrated analytical and research abilities through written reports on the organizational structure and administrative functions of the Fieldwork agency.

    Thus, fieldwork provides the student an opportunity for a practical, “real world” experience to develop direct leadership, programming, and administrative skills sufficient for entry into a professional career.

Procrastination

     Procrastination is an uncommon word in English that means ' The act of delaying or postponing work or a task. Even if we use this word rarely while speaking or writing, we often do this thing daily in our life.

    

What are the things we used to Procrastinate Daily?

•   Some Procrastinate to wake up
•   Some Procrastinate to eat in time
•   Some Procrastinate to complete the tasks given to them
•   Some Procrastinate to Say Sorry

  Etc...

Why we Procrastinate?

    We often procrastinate due to our laziness, Sometimes it may be due to distractions. I had my own experience of procrastination due to distractions. When I am studying or writing something at the home at night, my mobile phone often blinks with notifications from WhatsApp, when I receive a notification I used to open Whatsapp and reply to the chat. You may have guessed right, the chat will continue for several minutes and thus it spoils my study mood. Later I Turned Off notifications on Whatsapp, thus I find a solution to my problem

What are the results of Procrastinating?

     Procrastination mostly results in negative things like Stress, Frustration, Depression, Guilt, etc.

Can Procrastination Be correct Somewhere?

       Yes. Procrastination can be correct in some Places. When we are being Procrastinated by some distractions, Conversely try to procrastinate the distractions. It will help you to complete your works on time. Thus it can reduce your stress.    

    Never Procrastinate your tasks, but procrastinate your distractions and Be the Best.

நீரின்றி காய்ந்து 

கருகிய விதையை 

கண்டு நெஞ்சுபிளந்த

பிறன் ஒருவனுக்கு

பிறந்தநாள் வாழ்த்து கவிதை- தோழிக்கு

கோடையில் ஆச்சரிய மழையாய்,
வானை கிழித்து குதித்தாய்,
மண்ணிலே விழுந்து அழுதாய்.

சோகத்தினால் அழுபவர் உண்டு,
மகிழ்ச்சியினால் அழுபவர் உண்டு,
நீ அழுத்து எதினாலோ?

உன் முதல் அழுகையின்
மூவேழாம் ஆண்டு நிறைவு இன்று,
பரிசளித்தால் மிகவும் நன்று.

ஆனால் எதை தருவது?
குழந்தையெனில் முத்தங்கள் தரலாம்,
சிறுமியெனில் இனிப்புகள் தரலாம்,

தோழியெனில் கரங்கள் தரலாம்,
உறவுயெனில் பரிசுகள் தரலாம்,
காதலியெனில் இதயமும் தரலாம்.

இவர்களில் நீ யார்?
எப்போதும் அன்புகாட்டுபவள் தாய்,
அன்பை கற்பிப்பித்தவளை யாரென்பது?

எப்படியாயினும் கற்றுதருபவள் ஆசானே
ஆசானுக்கு தகுந்த பரிசேது?
வாழ்த்த இயலவில்லை வணங்குகிறேன்.

அன்பின் உருவான பெண்ணே!
இன்றுப் போல் என்றும்
அன்பை பகிர்ந்துக் கொண்டிரு.

என்னை மாற்றும் காதலே!

தென்றல் காற்றே! என்னை
காதல் செய்வாயா?
நீ செல்லும் இடமெங்கும்

காலை கதிரவா! என்னை

உன்னைப் போல் என்னை
ஒளிரச் செய்வாயா?

மல்லிகைப் பூவே! என்னை

கல்லூரியின் இறுதிநாள்

நேற்றுவரை கசந்த வகுப்புகள்

இன்று இனிக்கின்றது.

நேற்றுவரை  இனித்த விடுமுறையோ

இன்று கசக்கின்றது.

ஆயிரமாயிரம் நினைவலைகளோடு

மூன்று ஆண்டுகள்

அதின் எல்லையை

தொட விரைகின்றது.

ஐம்பத்து-ஒருவர் ஒருவராய் வாழ்ந்தோம்

இன்று ஐம்பத்தொரு திசைகளில்

நம்மை பிரிக்கின்றது காலம்.

தோட்டத்தில் மலர்ந்த பூக்களை

வீடுகள்தோறும், வீதீகள்தோறும்

மணம்  வீச-

அழைக்கின்றது உலகம்.

கற்ற கல்வியையும்,

பெற்ற அன்பினையும்

துணைக் கொண்டு

தரணி எங்கும் செல்லுவோம்.

மலைமேல் தீபமாய்

எழும்பி பிரகாசிப்போம்..

போதும் என்கிற மனம் வேண்டாம், நண்பனே!!!

       

    தலைப்பை கண்டவுடன்  எழுத்துப்பிழை என எண்ணியிருப்பீர்கள், நிச்சயம் இல்லை.'போதும் என்கிற மனமே பொன் செய்யும் மருந்து' இது பழமொழி.போதும் என்கிற மனதுடையவர்களால் அமைதியாக, அதே சமயம் மகிழ்ச்சியான வாழ்கையை வாழ இயலும், நான் மறுக்கவில்லை.

ஆனால்  போதும் என்கிற மனம் நிச்சயம் உனக்கு வேண்டாம், தோழா. ஏன் ? என்ற அந்த கேள்விக்கு விடைகளோடு நான் கனி.

உலகில் தினசரி லட்சக்கணக்கான குழந்தைகள் பிறக்கின்றனர்; லட்சக்கணக்கானோர் மரிக்கின்றனர். ஆனால் பிறப்பின் அர்த்தத்தை கண்டுபிடித்து, நிறைவேற்றி மரிப்பவர்கள் இங்கே அரிது.

தேடல் என்னும் சொல் வாழ்வின் எல்லைகளை விரிவடைய செய்கிறது. ஆனால் போதும் என்கிற மனம் ஒருவருக்கு வரும்போது அவரின் தேடல் முடிவடைகிறது. தேடல் இல்லாத வாழ்க்கை அர்த்தமற்றது.

பாடப்புத்தகத்தில் படிப்பது மட்டும்போதும் என்று விஞ்ஞானிகள் எண்ணி இருந்தால், இன்று மனிதனை பலமடங்கு உயர்த்தி இருக்கும் இத்தனை கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் ஏது ?. பகலில் மட்டும் வெளிச்சம் இருந்தால் போதும் என்று ஐன்ஸ்டீன் எண்ணியிருந்தால் இன்று இரவை பகலாகும் மின்சார விளக்குகள் கண்டுப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை. நிலம் வழியாக பயணிப்பது போதும் என ரைட் சகோதரர்கள்  எண்ணியிருந்தால் மணிநேரத்தில் நாடுகளை கடக்க செய்யும் விமான பயணம் சாத்தியப்பட்டிருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை.

ஆம், தோழனே போதும் என்கிற மனதை நீ துறந்தால் உனக்குள் தேடல் உருவாகும், உன் எல்லைகள் விரிவாகும், வரலாற்றில் உன் பெயர் நிலைத்து நிற்கும்.

தேடலுடன் புறப்படு தோழா, வாழ்த்துகளுடன் நான் தோழன் கனி...

Be Like Zombie

The Zombie is moving Forward.

Hundreds of bombs ahead,
But the Zombie moves;
Thousands of Bullets towards,
But the Zombie moves;
The Bloody Blood leaking,
But the Zombie moves;
The body is injured Hard,
But the Zombie moves;
The pain is Killing,
But the Zombie moves;
The Zombie is moving Forward,

- till it is fired into Ashes.

 தனிமை,
 தனது தவறினையும்
 உணர செய்தல்
 இனிமை.

 #அறுசுவை விருந்து

துன்பங்கள், துயரங்கள்
வாழ்வில் வரும்போது
புன்னகையுடன் எதிர்கொண்டு
முன்செல்கிறேன்.,

எரிப்பும், துவர்பும் கூட
அறுசுவை விருந்தின்
ஒருபகுதி என 

உணர்ந்ததால்..

நெகிழி- நம் எதிரி

நெகிழி - நெகிழ்பவன் அழிவதில்லை,
எனக்கூறிடும் அழகிய உதாரணம்.
வேதியல் ஆய்வுகளின் பயன்,
இயற்பியல் நுணுக்கங்களின் திரள்,
அழியா-வரம் பெற்ற அசுர அரக்கன்.
காற்றில் பறந்ததினால் விபத்துகள் ஏராளம்,
வடிகால்களை அடைத்ததினால் சிறுமழை பெருவெள்ளம்,
மரணிக்கும் விலங்குகள் வயிற்றின் தங்கபுதையல்,
நிலத்தடிநீர் உயராமல் காத்திடும் உத்தமவில்லன்,
நெகிழி அது நம் எதிரி.
நெகிழியை ஒழிப்போம்,
இயற்கையை பேணுவோம்,
உலகை காப்போம்.

மன்னன் பிறந்தார்

வானில் மின்னும் பூக்கள்

இடையே ஒரு விண்மீன்,

இருளில் தவிக்கும் மாந்தருக்காய்

ஒரு அற்புத ஒளி -

பெத்தலையில் பிறந்தார் இயேசு.

ஏழ்மை கோலமாய்,

எளியவள் மகனாய்,

நீதியின் சூரியனாய்,

அன்பின் சொரூபியாய்

உதித்தது இரட்சணியம்.

எளியவள் தாழ்மையால்

கிருபை பெற்றிட,

ஸ்திரிகளில் பாக்கியவதியாள்.

ஈசாயின் வேர்

துளிர்திட,

தாவீதின் குலம்

செழித்திட,

கன்னி மகனாய்

வார்த்தை மாமிசமானது.

தூதர் கூட்டம்

மந்தை மேய்ப்பருக்கு

நற்செய்தி கூறி,

துதித்துப் போற்றிட.

காரிருளில்,

கடும் குளிரில்,

ஜென்மித்தார் மேசியா.

ஆதாமின் தவறினால்

பாவம் பெருகிட,

சர்ப்பத்தின் தலையை உடைக்க,

பாவ நாசகர்,

அருவமான தேவன்,

மனு உருவானார்.

உன்னதத்தில் மகிமையும்,

பூமியில் சமாதானமும்

உண்டாகிட.,

பலிக்கான ஆட்டுக்குட்டி

மந்தை மத்தியில்.

இம்மானுவேலனாய்

புல்லணையில் தோன்றிய

தூய தேவா.,

இவ்வேழை நெஞ்சில் வாரும்

பாவ இருள் அகற்றி

நல்வழி காட்டிடும்...

திருமண வாழ்த்து கவிதை - தோழிக்கு

செவ்வந்தி பூ ஒன்று
இதழ் மூடி சிரிக்குதம்மா;
கானக் குயில் ஒன்று
தன் ஜோடி கண்டதம்மா;
மணக்கோலம் அது பூண்டு
மணவாழ்வு காணும் தோழியே;
செல்லும் இடம் அதில்,
தாயாக,
தாரமாக,
உறவாக,
உயிராக,
காற்றிலே கலந்து
மணம் வீசிடு;
தேனும் பாலும் போல
ஒன்றாய் கலந்து,
மங்காத புகழும்,
அழியாத கல்வியும்,
குன்றாத வலிமையும்,
நீங்காத வெற்றியும்,
பேர் சொல்லும் மக்களும்,
தீராத செல்வமும்,
நிறைந்த நெல்லும்,
நல் விதியும்,
இனிய நுகர்ச்சியும்,
நுண்ணிய அறிவும்,
ஒப்பற்ற அழகும்,

அன்னை தெரசா அம்மையார் தினமும் செய்த ஜெபம்:

“ இறைவா,

            உன் அமைதியின் கருவியாக என்னை ஆக்கியருளும்,

            எங்கே பகை உள்ளதோ அங்கே அன்பையும்,

            எங்கே மனவருத்தம் உள்ளதோ அங்கே மன்னிப்பையும்,

            எங்கே இருள் உள்ளதோ அங்கே ஒளியையும்,

            எங்கே துன்பம் உள்ளதோ அங்கே இன்பத்தையும்,

            நான் பரப்பிட உதவியருளும்.

            ஆறுதல் தேடுவதைவிட ஆறுதல் அளிக்கவும்,

            பிறரால் புரிந்துகொள்ளப்படுவதைவிட பிறரைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளவும்,

            பிறரால் நேசிக்கப்படுவதைவிட பிறரை நேசிக்கவும்,

            நான் நாட உதவி புரியும்,

            ஏனெனில் கொடுப்பதில்தான் பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறோம்,
